I will first note that I did not create The Cheat. However, I created a build of The Cheat where I fixed two important issues. One of the issues was that The Cheat had problems running on intel macs or macs that ran leopard. The other one was that narrowing down memory searches would often fail and crash.
The Cheat is a tool that allows you to read and write data into memory of a process while the process is running. This means that you can change things in a running program, like for example, changing the number of deaths you have in Slayer while playing Halo. This method may be referred to "memory hacking" by some.
The Cheat is not hard to use nor hard to learn, and can be quite fun to use. It doesn't require any prior modding experience, though modding experience would certainly help. There is a good manual for learning how to use The Cheat in its Help menu. That said, I will note that The Cheat isn't the safest program to use, as it can write data into other program's memory.
When using The Cheat with Halo Demo, I would strongly advise you for compatibility reasons to not have any mods on, unless you want your cheat to only work for a specific mod. For those that may forget, the KW 3 map is a mod.

In this download, a sample cheat is included where you can change anyone's walking speed in Halo Demo. As with most multiplayer cheats, you will have to be the host to use it.

| Is this the same tool as the "cheat" I had that required the admin password and can seriously mess up stuff if you use it in other applcations, such as Finder? |

Yes, The Cheat requires an administrator password. Like I said before, it isn't the safest application to use as it can write data into other program's memory. Just be careful with the application is all, and try not to write data all over the place like a crazy person. |

Yes I know that.
Let's just say the host is on the same team as the clan there in. They use that to fix the stats, so when they input it, it's not the real stats. Is that possible? Correct me if im wrong. |

3rd person also supposedly does not work for Leopard, which means it may not work on leopard powerpc. |
